1. MELD Score (Model for End-stage Liver Disease)
β’ A score based on lab tests (bilirubin, INR, creatinine)
β’ MELD β₯ 15 usually indicates need for transplant
β’ Higher score = higher urgency
2. Child-Pugh Score
β’ Used to classify liver damage (A to C)
β’ Class C = highest severity
3. Liver Cancer (HCC) Within Milan/UCSF Criteria
β’ Tumor β€ 5 cm, or β€ 3 tumors each β€ 3 cm
β’ No vascular invasion or metastasis
4. No Absolute Contraindications
